Welcome to

Jamelah Permanent Cosmetics

Hi, I’m Zoe, and I’m based in Milton Keynes. I specialise in creating beautiful, long-lasting Ombre Brows.

I’ve been passionate about brows for years—so much so, I’ve been getting my own eyebrows tattooed since 2003! This personal experience has given me a deep understanding of how important it is to achieve the perfect shape, colour, and style that suits each individual. With this knowledge and 6 years of professional training and hands-on experience, I’m dedicated to giving you brows that are not only beautiful but also natural and long-lasting.

I use the latest techniques and top-quality products to ensure your brows not only look amazing but also heal perfectly. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and my commitment to creating brows that complement your unique face shape, skin tone, and personal style. I love working with my clients to help them feel confident and beautiful, whether it’s their first time or they’re coming back for a touch-up.

When I’m not perfecting brows, you can find me spending quality time with my family (I’m a proud mum of four kids!) or enjoying a meal out with the girls. My goal is to make your experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, and I can’t wait to help you achieve your dream brows!

Ombre Blush Brow

As a semi-permanent Ombre brow tattoo artist, I specialise in creating soft, gradient brows that transition from light at the front to a deeper, more defined arch and tail.

Using a precise technique, I apply fine layers of pigment to mimic the natural look of makeup, achieving a polished yet soft finish that complements each client’s features and lifestyle. I combine artistry with precision to craft brows that are effortlessly defined, with a light, airy effect at the start of the brow.

I specialise in enhancing natural beauty by creating defined, symmetrical eyebrows that suit each client's unique face shape and preferences. My expertise in colour theory ensures that the brows I create have a natural, flattering tint that complements the client’s skin tone and hair colour.

Known for my attention to detail, I customise each treatment to meet individual needs, enhancing my clients’ faces in the most flattering way. Whether they seek subtle enhancement or a bolder look, I provide long-lasting results.

With a commitment to hygiene, safety, and continuous learning, I keep up with best practices to provide top-tier, customised eyebrow solutions. I pride myself on making clients feel comfortable and confident throughout the procedure, ensuring they leave with the perfect Ombre effect they desire. This combination of skill, care, and client-centered focus sets me apart.

Don't just take my word for it—my clients consistently leave 5-star reviews, praising both the stunning results and the professional, relaxing experience I provide. Their feedback is a testament to the care and expertise I bring to every treatment.

Your Journey

How We Work

Consultation

We conduct a thorough consultation to understand each client's individual needs and preferences, ensuring a customised treatment that delivers natural-looking results.

Treatment

We always use high-quality, sterile equipment and follow strict health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. The session can take roughly 3 hours.

Top Up

A top-up session 5-8 weeks after the initial treatment is recommended to achieve the desired colour and shape, ensuring long-lasting, quality results.

Colour Boost

Over time, colour can fade due to factors such as sun exposure or skincare products. A colour boost can help refresh the look of the semi-permanent makeup.

What Our Clients Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the process painful?

I use a combination of gel and liquid numbing products to minimise discomfort. I care about your comfort, so I have perfected my numbing techniques over the years. Most clients fall asleep during the process!

I will check in regularly to ensure you are comfortable and pain-free throughout.

Is it Microblading?

The Ombre Brow is not Microblading; it is a form of Permanent Cosmetic Tattooing done with a machine. The technique features a dramatic fade, with the brow being lighter at the front and gradually deepening in colour toward the tail. This creates a soft, natural look at the beginning, with more definition toward the end. The result is a soft, fluffy brow with a pop of definition, perfect with or without makeup. The Ombre is a complete game changer, designed to elevate your look and boost your confidence.

I have been getting my eyebrows tattooed since 2003 I tried Microblading once and, personally, I would not recommend it. While it looks good initially, it does not last, and it can be extremely painful. I posted about the differences between Microblading and the Ombre Brow; it is pinned to the top of my Facebook page if you would like to look.

Can you go over my previous work?

I can work over previous work, but since there is existing ink, I will need to work with what you have. If you would like to make the brows thicker or change the shape, that would be a better approach.

Are Ombre Brows suitable for all skin types?

Ombre Brows are generally suitable for all skin types, especially oily skin, as the technique uses a machine and powder, which tend to hold up better on this type of skin.

How long will it last and is it permanent?

The longevity of your enhancement varies from person to person, as factors like skin type and environmental conditions can affect how long the pigments last. On average, you can expect your enhancement to last between 1-3 years, depending on lifestyle. Sun exposure and frequent use of sunbeds can cause pigments to fade more quickly, but this can be minimised with proper sun protection. I recommend using a sunblock stick that costs around £10, and I can send you the link if you are interested.

To keep your enhancement looking refreshed and vibrant, I recommend periodic colour boosts for maintenance. I offer discounted colour boost rates.

How long does it take?

The procedure typically takes around 3 hours, including consultation and numbing time. Touch-ups will take roughly 45 minutes.

How many sessions are included?

A second appointment is included in the price, typically 6-8 weeks after your first procedure. In many cases, clients may not need this touch-up, but we will still schedule it during your initial appointment. If it is not needed, we can simply cancel it closer to the time.

What does the treatment involve?

I will discuss your requirements and advise on the shape, colour, and style of brow that will best suit you. Your lifestyle, image, hair, skin tone, and facial features will all be taken into consideration. Using a signature blend of pigment colours, I will create the perfect match based on your preferences, whether you are aiming for a super soft or more defined, dense brow.

Do you do more of a natural or defined look?

The Ombre Brow can be tailored to suit each person’s desired look. Using a layering technique with whip shading, I can create either a natural appearance or a more defined, saturated look.

How do I choose the right shade?

I will work with you to select the best shade based on your natural brow colour, skin undertones, and desired look.

What will I look like straight after the treatment?

Boldness is to be expected with this technique. Immediately after the procedure, your eyebrows will appear 30%-50% darker, sharper, and thicker. Slight redness and minor swelling at the treatment site may occur for the first couple of days, but this will soften and lighten over the next 14 days.

How long does it take to heal?

You can expect the pigment to lighten and soften around day 14, with full results visible after about 28 days.

I am feeling nervous and anxious

I totally understand how you are feeling — I was the same when I had mine done in 2003. My previous clients always mention how I made them feel at ease right away, so you are definitely in safe hands. I do not start the procedure until you are completely happy with the pre-draw. I book out 4 hours for the appointment, so we can go at your pace. We will discuss the colour, shape, and thickness you want, and I will create the pre-draw using the mapping method, considering your preferences. I will show you the pre-draw at least 3 times, making any adjustments, and once you are fully satisfied, I’ll begin the procedure.

Do I need to do anything to look after my brows?

After each treatment, I will provide you with a special aftercare balm and detailed instructions. Please make sure to follow the aftercare guidelines carefully.

Is there anything I will need to avoid doing after the treatment?

I recommend avoiding exposure to extreme heat, sunbeds, excessive sweating, moisture, or water.

Can I go on a sunshine holiday immediately after my treatment?

Sun exposure can affect the success of the results during the immediate healing phase. It is best to wait 4-6 weeks after your treatment before going on holiday.

Do I need to get them waxed?

Waxing and threading treatments should be done at least one week before your procedure, but plucking is fine. It is best to come in with your brows tidy; I will remove any stray hairs outside of the template once you have approved the pre-draw.

Can I get Botox before?

It is recommended to have your brows tattooed 3-4 weeks before getting Botox.

Is it hygienic?

I deliver to the highest standards of health and safety and have a very strict protocol, to have a one use only method, meaning all instruments and materials are used only once per client then are disposed of.

Is it safe?

The treatment involves gently implanting small particles of pigment into the reticular layer of the skin, which helps achieve longer-lasting results. However, like any form of tattooing, there are some risks involved. These can include allergic reactions, undesired results or colours, misplaced pigment, infection, or scarring.

I want to do a patch test

Sure, I can send you a patch test kit. There are two plasters: one contains the micro-pigmentation pigment, and the other contains the anesthetic.

Place one plaster on the top of your left thigh and the other on your right thigh. Before applying the pigment plaster, add a drop of tap water to it. The pigment plaster is the dark one.

After 24 hours, remove the plasters and check the skin. If there is no reaction (redness, swelling, irritation, or itching), it is safe to proceed with your enhancement. If you experience any of the symptoms mentioned above, remove the plaster and rinse the area with cold water immediately.

Do you offer the payment plan?

Yes, I offer payment plans. Let me know if you would like more information.
